White/Black Faceplate

Notice the faceplates of the chargers you are looking at are black and or white? This is a sign that they lightning cable is not real, the faceplate should be a metallic gray/silver appearance. Be sure to check every cable you look at, you’ll eventually find a good one.

Rough Appearance

Notice the appearance of the lighting cable literally looks “rough around the edges”, this is another sign that the lightning cable you are looking at is not real. The entire thing should be nice and smoothed if it is a real product you should be utilizing.

Uneven Width

Notice the lightning cable is uneven at the end? Another really good sign that you are purchasing a fake lightning cable and should be putting it back on the shelf where you found it.
